A delegation of "Strong Lebanon" bloc and "Free Patriotic Movement" Politburo, led by MP Nicola Sehnaoui, visited on Tuesday the headquarters of Orthodox Gathering.
Upon arrival, the delegation was greeted by the Gathering's Secretary General, former Minister Marwan Abu Fadel, former Beirut Governor Nichola Saba, and other dignitaries.
Speaking on behalf of the delegation in the wake of the meeting, former Minister, Gaby Layoun, announced that the visit comes within the framework of their tour among spiritual leaders and heads of parties and parliamentary blocs, to put forward the FPM's approach on the subject of the displaced Syrians, from a national and realistic perspective.
Layoun stressed the dire need to find a solution to the predicament of the displaced Syrians in Lebanon, saying the main purpose of their visit to the Orthodox Gathering falls in the context of uniting position towards this imminent peril.
Layoun said the delegation supports a safe and dignified return of the displaced Syrians to their homeland.
