Strong Lebanon" Parliamentary Bloc Member, MP Edgar Traboulsi, stressed Saturday that "the Understanding of Maarab did not and will not fall," adding that the Lebanese Forces and Free Patriotic Movement have succeeded in many junctures of this agreement; thus, yielding the outcome witnessed in many areas of the State.
Speaking to "MTV" Channel earlier today, Traboulsi considered that the Diman encounter has provided a new impetus for this agreement, in the hope that it culminates in other meetings as well.
Over a possible encounter between Lebanese Forces Party Chief, Samir Geagea, and Free Patriotic Movement Head, Caretaker Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil, Traboulsi indicated that "there is no objection to its occurrence at any time," while warning of the serious repercussions of what he described as "fits of madness" recently witnessed within social media.
Regarding the government formation, Traboulsi called for "a little humility among the various parties to facilitate the formation of the new cabinet, without listening to foreign sides which may be an important reason for the delay."
