Indian Ambassador to Lebanon, Sanjiv Arora, highlighted the importance of bolstering economic relations between India and Lebanon, and the need to open up prospects for Indian investments.
Ambassador Arora's fresh words on Wednesday came during a visit he paid to the Chamber of Tripoli and North Lebanon, where he met with Chamber head, Toufic Dabboussi, in the presence of Engineer Nabil Itani, Board Chairman of the Investment Development Authority of Lebanon (IDAL).
Ambassador Arora said that he follows up on all the activities carried out by Tripoli and North Lebanon Chamber, in addition to the various conditions related to the path of economic facilities and the dynamics of the private sector.
The Indian envoy expressed his admiration of the work by the Tripoli Chamber, noting that this is his second visit to the Chamber since his first one in February 2018.
Arora also brought to attention the facilities provided by the Indian Embassy in Lebanon to the various spectrum of Lebanese businessmen.
