BAGHDAD, Secretary General of the Council of Ministers Mehdi Al-Alaq and Swiss Ambassador Hans-Peter Linz discussed the challenges facing the current Iraqi government.
"The two sides discussed, during the meeting, the file of stability and the most important projects to be implemented in the liberated areas to ensure the voluntary return of citizens, especially more than 2000 service projects have already been implemented to achieve this goal and complete the return before the end of 2019," a Statement to the Cabinet Secretariat said.
According to the statement, Alaq confirmed that" the counting and sorting operations are continuing towards the formation of a new government. "
For his part, Ambassador Linz expressed his satisfaction with the nature of relations between the two countries and his intention to visit the city of Mosul to see the nature of the situation there.
