The 10th edition of the annual Royal Academy of Police (RAP) Summer Camp today got underway in Bahrain.
The academy and the Labour Fund (Tamkeen) are jointly organizing the camp which will run until the 9th of August.
RAP Commander Brigadier Ibrahim Al Sheeb said that the camp aims to direct the energy of youth towards the best interests of the nation and promote the spirit of patriotism.
The Interior Ministry's police band took part in the opening ceremony of the camp, which is part of efforts to consolidate the spirit of citizenship, belonging and loyalty and cultivate discipline, self-reliance and the team-work mindset.
The camp includes visits to a number of organizations, as well as workshops and educational and awareness lectures. Students visited the University of Bahrain and took part in a workshop on electronic media.
