KAIA Customs Foils Four attempts to smuggle Heroin

Jeddah, Customs officers at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah have foiled four attempts to smuggle a quantity of "heroin" drug amounted to 925.8 grams, in addition to the amount of banned "Tramadol" pills amounted to 4,972 tablets hidden with a passenger coming to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Director General of Customs at the Airport Bandar Al-Ruhaili said that these narcotic smuggling attempts were foiled while checking by Customs officers as they were hidden in different ways, pointing out that necessary legal measures were taken against these violations.
