Education Minister Dr. Majid bin Ali Al-Nuaimi approved the allocated scholarships for the academic year 2018/2019.
The minister extended thanks to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, for supporting the ministry in its dedicated efforts to provide students with the best educational services and ensure top-achievers' grants and scholarships.
Dr. Al-Nuaimi said that top-achievers who graduated from public and private schools with a cumulative average of at least 90%, had been allocated the scholarships they desired.
The ministry has also allocated scholarships to students with special needs, gifted students and holy Quran memorisers, he added.
Scholarships and Attaches Director Isa Abdulla Al-Kooheji urged students to login the ministry's portal www.moe.gov.bh as of August 3 until August 9 to confirm their allocated scholarships.
He also urged students to report to the ministry's headquarters in Isa Town and bring the required documents to finalise procedures.
