The National Society for Human Rights in kingdom: Canadian position transgresses international norms, sovereignty of Kingdom

Riyadh, The National Society for Human Rights in the Kingdom condemned the statements made by the Canadian Foreign Minister and the Canadian Embassy in Saudi Arabia regarding an internal issue, calling for a distinction between respect for the principles of human rights supported by Saudi Arabia and interference in the affairs of the internal states governed by its constitution and internal laws.

The head of the association, Dr. Mufleh bin Rabayan Al-Qahtani, told the Saudi Press Agency that what was issued by the Canadian side transgressed international norms and the kingdom's sovereignty.
