Lebanese Kataeb Party on Monday called for a swift government formation made up of competent specialists who are capable of taking radical salvation measures.
Kataeb's fresh remarks came in a statement issued in the wake of its Politburo's weekly meeting, presided over by Party leader MP Samy Gemayel.
The meeting broached most recent developments in the country.
The Phalange Party underlined utmost priority for the return of the displaced Syrians to their homeland, deeming the international initiatives, especially the Russian initiative, as the "key guarantee of this return."
Kataeb Party said that "the Russian mediator is able to influence the Syrian regime, and to open channels with the international community, to secure the adequate conditions for such a return."
The Party also stressed "the need to adhere to the policy of neutrality," warning of the risk of interference in the affairs of others, which leaves serious implications on Lebanon.
Kataeb extended greetings to the Lebanese, in general, and the Muslims, in particular, on the occasion of the holy Eid al-Adha, wishing them further prosperity, wellbeing and peace of mind.
