Yemeni president lauds U.S. position against Iran’s interference in the region

Aden, Yemeni President Abdrabbou Mansour Hadi lauded his country's relations with the United States of America in confronting the joint challenges, citing terror threat in general and Iran's interference in the region in particular, through its puppet Houthi militias' in Sanaa and Hezbollah of Lebanon.

During his meeting with the U.S. ambassador to Yemen Matthew Toler in Aden today, Hadi said the challenges are still posing, citing the recent Houthi militias tampering with the Yemeni national currency.

According to the Yemeni news agency, he drew the attention to the cooperation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Yemeni capital which contributed to overcoming the repercussions of the crisis and its return to normal, gearing forward to the role of the United States in this regard and continuation of its efforts in support for the legitimacy in Yemen.

For his part, the U.S. ambassador confirmed his country's support for legitimacy in Yemen against the different dangers and challenges.
