Daesh targeted a water project with improvised explosive devices southwest of Kirkuk

KIRKUK, A group of Daesh elements targeted last night a water project in a village in Hawija district with improvised explosive devices that led to the disruption of the project.

A police source told NINA news agency that an armed group of Daesh infiltrated into the project on the outskirts of Gharib village and planted explosive devices which caused damage to the project and stopped working without causing casualties.

The source pointed out that a joint force of police and tribal crowd clashed with the attackers who fled without knowing the size of their casualties.
