BAGHDAD, Fifteen Saudis, including officials, arrived in Istanbul on board two planes and were present at the Saudi consulate in the presence of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, security sources said.
The sources added, according to the Turkish Agency "Anatolia" that the officials returned later to the countries from which they came."
"Khashoggi did not leave the Saudi consulate after entering it to end a marriage-related treatment," it said.
It pointed out that the Turkish security continues its investigations into the disappearance of the Saudi journalist, under the instructions of the Istanbul Prosecutor General.
It confirmed that the security authorities concerned examined all records relating to the operations of entry and exit from the Saudi consulate during the period between the entry of Khashoggi to the consulate and to inform his fiancee about his disappearance.

Last Wednesday, the Turkish Foreign Ministry summoned the Saudi Ambassador to Ankara, Walid bin Abdul Karim al-Khuraiji, to inquire about the status of Khashoggi.
According to Anatolia, Turkish Presidential Spokesman Ibrahim Kalan said on Wednesday that the information received so far indicates Khashoggi's presence at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul, while the consulate said he had "left" the consulate building after ending his own treatment.
