‘Bahrain categorically rejects campaigns against Saudi Arabia’

Manama, Information Affairs Minister and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Bahrain Institute for Political Development (BIPD), Ali bin Mohammed Al-Romaihi, has stressed that the suspicious campaign launched against sisterly Saudi Arabia is not the spur of the moment, but has been there for more than three decades.

In a statement to the Al-Ain news channel, the minister pointed out that Saudi Arabia has always been able to overcome such offensive attacks reflecting an alien media culture adopted by some tendentious media outlets to undermine the region's security and stability.

Al-Romaihi stressed that Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, and Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Defence Minister, HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, will remain the protective shield and the strategic depth of the Arab and Islamic nations.

The minister reiterated Bahrain's principled firm stance in support of Saudi Arabia and backing of all the measures it takes to safeguard its security, stability and sovereignty, underlining the kingdom's categorical rejection of all harmful attacks and misleading smear media campaigns against Saudi Arabia.

Al-Romaihi emphasised that campaigns against sisterly Saudi Arabia would not achieve their suspicious objectives thanks to the keenness of the Saudi citizens to rally together behind their leadership.
