Four Kurdish Fighters Of PKK killed In Turkish Air Raids In Northern Iraq

BAGHDAD Turkish air strikes killed four Kurdish opposition fighters in northern Iraq.

"Four PKK militants were killed by Turkish air strikes in northern Iraq," the Anatolia news agency reported.

"Turkish fighter jets launched raids on the positions of PKK terrorists in Afachin-Basian region, which resulted in the neutralization of four terrorists of the separatist organization who planned to carry out a terrorist act against Turkish border posts," the statement said.

The Turkish planes, in cooperation with the security services and police two years ago, launched large-scale campaigns against (PKK) inside and outside the country to eliminate the organization, which Turkey says is carrying out terrorist operations against Turkish civilians and soldiers in various Turkish states.
