Baghdad, A member of the House of Representatives for Sauiroon Alliance, Salam al-Shimmari expected that the House of Representatives will hold a session on Tuesday to vote on the candidates of the remaining ministries.
Shimmari told NINA that "holding the meeting depends on the completion of the Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi to his cabinet, which is expected and very much to be on Tuesday."
He added "It is very likely that discussions and political dialogues will result an agreement on candidate names and give freedom of choice for the prime minister to complete the long-awaited ministerial cabinet,".
On the candidate for the post of interior minister in particular, Shimmari said that "the former Interior Minister in the previous government, Qassim al-Araji became the closest option by 90%."
The speaker of the parliament, Mohamed Halbousi, announced that the next session will be to complete the cabinet, and decided to adjourn the meeting on Saturday until then.
The House of Representatives voted last month to give confidence to Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi and 14 candidates from his cabinet.
