The Honorary Consul of the State of Brazil in Lebanon Siham Al-Harati held a ceremony in honor of the new Brazilian Ambassador to Lebanon, Paolo Cordero de Andrade Pinto, and his spouse, Dr. Vera Lucia Ribeiro Estrella de Andrade Pinto, at her residence in Qab Elias, in the presence of former Minister Mohammad Rahal, Diplomatic staff of the Brazilian Embassy in Lebanon and ranking dignitaries.
Ambassador Pinto praised the work of the Brazilian Consulate in Qab Elias, stressing that "The embassy will work on sending more staff to the Bekaa, and will check on all the Brazilian families in the region, as it includes more than 6,000 Brazilian families of Lebanese origin."
"We will work together to deepen ties. We will address the municipalities and the community, and our priority is to strengthen the Lebanese-Brazilian relations," he said.
