Acting Undersecretary of Ministry of Islamic Affairs Visits Largest Mosque in Southeast Asia

Jakarta, Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs for Call and Guidance of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Aqeel has visited Istiqlal Mosque in Jakarta, Indonesia, which is the largest mosque in Southeast Asia, with a capacity to accommodate more than 200,000 worshipers.

Dr. Al-Aqeel was accompanied by the Religious Attache at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Jakarta Saad bin Hussein Al-Namasi.

Dr. Al-Aqeel's visit comes as part of his current visit to Indonesia to patronize Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Competition for the Memorization of the Holy Quran and the Prophet's Sunnah.
