Riyadh, Saudi-German relations were discussed, in a workshop organized by Prince Saud Al-Faisal Institute for Diplomatic Studies, an affiliate of the ministry of foreign affairs, in addition to regional as well as international issues.
The main speaker was the member of the German parliament (Bundestag) and the spokesman of the ruling party, a German research team representing Friedrich-Ebert Foundation and some of the German embassy staff.
Issues of mutual interest to the two countries were reviewed, analyzed and explored, including Iran policies posing threats to the regional stability, Yemeni crisis and prospects for reaching a peaceful settlement for the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
Opportunities furnished by the Kingdom Vision 2030 were highlighted, too, to boost cultural as well as economic relations between the two countries.
