Riyadh, Dr. Hala bint Mazyad Al-Twaijri, the Secretary General of Family Affairs Council, received here today a high-level Ethiopian delegation, led by the Minister of State at the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs Elsh Eshet, and the accompanying delegation.
At the outset of the meeting, she welcomed the delegation, confirming the close ties binding the two countries and the keenness of the leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to consolidate the relations between the two countries and governments. Then the two delegations exchanged talks on social activities and ways of common cooperation.
A number of issues on the agenda were then discussed, topped by issues concerning women, children and empowerment of families.
For her part, the Ethiopian senior official expressed thanks and appreciation of her country's government for the strenuous endeavors of the Custodain of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to enhance common cooperation between the two countries, lauding the Kingdom's efforts in the social and development fields as well as the progress being witnessed as part of the Kingdom's ambitious vision 2030.
