Tabuk, The third stage of the Ula-Neum Rally, 231-km journey from Al-Ula to NEOM, started today from Abu Qazzaz and ends in Al-Amoud.
The second phase of the rally comes as Saudi driver Yasser bin Saeedan (Mini) leads the race and Yazeed Al Rajhi comes in second place. The UAE driver Sheikh Khalid bin Faisal Al Qasimi (Peugeot) comes in the third place while Fernando Alonso (Toyota) remains fourth in the overall standings.
Prince Khalid bin Sultan Al-Abdullah Al-Faisal, Chairman of Saudi Federation of Automobiles and Motorcycles, told the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) that the diversity of the areas in the rally, in all its stages, adds another dimension to the competition, in addition to providing activities for the people and residents of the areas undergoing it, and is a preparation for International Dakar Rally to be held in early 2020.
