5th Scientific Session of 2nd Riyadh International Humanitarian Forum Discusses Evidence-based Professional Practice in Humanitarian Intervention

Riyadh, Within the activities of the 2nd Riyadh International Humanitarian Forum, the 5th scientific session titled Evidence-based Professional Practice in Humanitarian Intervention was held.

The session was held with the participation of Dominik Heinrich from WFP; Head of United Nations Human Settlements Programme Dr. Erfan Ali; Director of Food for Peace at USAID Trey Hicks; Managing Director of the Georgetown Strategy Group David Harden; IOM Regional Director for East and Horn of Africa Dr. Mohammed Abdiker; Co-CEO Interim and Chief Programs Officer at Plan International Canada Dr. Tanjina Mirza; Regional Programme Specialist in Basic Education (UNESCO) Dr. Hegazi Ibrahim; and IMC senior Director of International Program Bogdan Dumitru.

During the session, they discussed a number of topics including: improving the equality to have education in the conflict-affected societies through evidence-based practice.
