Iraq and Saudi Arabia are discussing developing bilateral relations to serve the interests of the two peoples

Baghdad, The Minister of Justice, Judge Salar Abdul Sattar Mohammed, discussed with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Baghdad, Abdul Aziz bin Khalid Al-Shammari, the brotherly relations between Iraq and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and working to strengthen them in a way that serves the interests of the two brotherly peoples.

“Iraq seeks to open new horizons of joint cooperation with the Kingdom, and the possibility of exchanging judicial and legal experiences between the two countries in the near future,” the Minister affirmed during the meeting, according to a Ministry statement.

For his part, the Saudi Ambassador appreciated the efforts made by the Minister in his humanitarian dealings and his reformist role with regard to the prisons of the Ministry in accordance with international treaties on human rights.
