MORTADA HAILS SUSPENSION OF SAUDI BAN ON LEBANESE PRODUCE STUCK AT BORDER

Caretaker Minister of Agriculture, Abbas Mortada, on Thursday extolled Saudi Arabia's fresh decision to suspend the ban on the import of Lebanese produce stuck at the Saudi border crossings.

Mortada said the suspension decision was no surprise "as we are used to brotherly ties with the Arabian Gulf states."

"We will always endeavor to anchor and enhance such relations," he said.
