Legal Affairs Minister meets ninth intake of Prime Minister’s Programme

Manama, Yousif bin Abdulhussain Khalaf, Minister of Legal Affairs, met with the ninth intake of the Prime Minister's Fellowship Programme. The minister emphasised the role of the programme in developing the capabilities and leadership skills of government cadres, in line with the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the vision of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. The minister briefed the fellows on the developed mechanism for preparing, submitting and reviewing government legislation to meet the goals of the Government Plan (2023 - 2026), and Bahrain's Economic Vision 2030. BDF wins third place in International Sniper Competition

Social Development Minister receives RHF Secretary General

Manama, Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al Asfoor, Minister of Social Development, received Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Secretary General of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF). The meeting reviewed RHF's efforts, particularly the Netaj Khair Al Bahrain project, which aims to support Bahraini craftsmen and small businesses. The minister thanked the foundation for its efforts in supporting families registered with the foundation, in implementation of the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the honorary president of the Foundation. He also commended the support and follow up of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of HM the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, and Chairman of the foundation's board of trustees, for the programmes and efforts of the foundation. NBR continues to hold workshops to raise awareness of the effective implementation of VAT

Manama, The National Bureau for Revenue held a VAT Introduction Workshop as part of its ongoing series of workshops that aim to raise awareness of VAT fundamentals and its effective implementations, with the participation of more than 100 VAT payers, in which they were instructed by NBR representatives about VAT and all its implementation aspects, concluded with a question-and-answer session to respond to all relevant inquiries. The NBR consistently organises workshops on a regular basis to enhance awareness.
