Iraq and Saudi Arabia discussed continuing cooperation in the security and academic fields and exchanging information.
A statement by the media office of the National Security Adviser, Qassem Al-Araji, stated that Al-Araji received, today, Saturday, the Saudi military attache, Brigadier General Nasser bin Talib Al-Saadoun, and witnessed the meeting, discussing strengthening Iraqi-Saudi relations, especially the continuation of cooperation in the security and academic fields, coordination and exchange of information and visits between the military and security academies between the two countries".
Al-Araji stressed during the meeting, according to the statement, the importance and depth of the strategic relationship and brotherly partnerships with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, praising the development of relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia, for the messages it carries of reassurance for the security and stability of the region.
For his part, the Saudi military attache appreciated the great role of Iraq in restoring Saudi-Iranian relations, expressing his hope that the region would witness more progress and stability.
