The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fuad Hussein, received today, Thursday, the Swedish Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Jan Kentson, at the Ministry's building.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that during the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations in various political, economic and scientific fields, and other areas of common interest between the two friendly countries.
The statement added, "During the meeting, a number of current regional and international issues were discussed, and Iraq's active role in mediating a solution to the disputes witnessed by some countries in the region."
