Security forces arrested three people accused of smuggling petroleum derivatives and seized their vehicles in Babylon and Karbala governorates.
The Ministry of Interior stated in a statement: “The detachments of the Sixth Energy Police Brigade arrested three defendants and seized their vehicles prepared for smuggling petroleum derivatives in the governorates of Babylon and Karbala, with multiple violations. The accused were placed in detention and the vehicles were seized in preparation for completing the investigative procedures and presenting them to the competent judiciary.”
