Cairo: The 13th meeting of the Arab National Committees on International Humanitarian Law began today, chaired by Egyptian Minister of Justice Adnan Fangary. The two-day meeting is being held at the Arab League's headquarters.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Kingdom's delegation to the meeting is headed by Secretary-General of the Standing Committee of International Humanitarian Law Dr. Abdullah Alrwailly. The meeting includes remarks by Arab countries holding joint leadership roles within the initiative's tracks.
Saudi Arabia and Qatar will present their perspectives within the track on international humanitarian law and peace, while the UAE will highlight its experience in preventing violations. Algeria will share its expertise in protecting civilian infrastructure, and Egypt will present its experience in the field of international humanitarian law and naval warfare.
