The Popular Mobilization Commission announced, today, Sunday, the launch of extensive operations to cleanse the desert lands in three governorates from terrorism. The Commission said in a statement, "Forces from the Popular Mobilization and the Iraqi army launched today Muhammad Messenger of God operations in the desert lands of (Nineveh, Anbar and Salah al-Din), with the support of the Air Force and Army Aviation to cleanse the desert of remnants of terrorism and impose security and stability in it." Manama, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa attended a celebration marking the anniversary of the Prophet's birth at the Sakhir Palace mosque after the afternoon prayer.
