State Of law: The Proposed Fourth Amendment To The Electoral Law Will Be Passed By An Overwhelming Majority

Baghdad, The bloc of the state of law coalition expected to pass the proposal of the fourth amendment to the law of the elections of the House of Representatives by an overwhelming majority.

The MP, Rasool Abu Hasna said in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA), "There are new terms presented by the parliamentary legal committee and legal experts on the extension or continuation of the work of the current House of Representatives," adding that "the most acceptable approach is the continuation of the work of parliament until ratification On results ".

He added that "the continuation of the work of the House of Representatives after June 30 is now an urgent need to monitor the work of the Commission and coordination of the executive authority to ensure the integrity of the electoral process," noting that "the mobilization of the quorum to attend the voting session will be 100% and pass the proposal of the fourth amendment to the law of the elections of the House of Representatives by an overwhelming majority."

The House of Representatives ended its extraordinary session yesterday to read and discuss the proposed amendment to the Fourth Law of the elections of the House of Representatives No. 45 of 2013.
