Member of Parliament, George Atallah, warned on Monday that any delay in the formation of a new cabinet would only steal the "glow" of the prevailing tenure.
"Foreign developments are delaying the formation of the cabinet, especially bids on a likely US withdrawal from the nuclear agreement to reshuffle cards in the region," the lawmaker told the Voice of Lebanon radio station.
Atallah went on to wonder what was keeping the Prime Minister-designate from handing the President a new cabinet formula.
"It's not a matter of concessions but rather more the adoption of unified standards forming the cabinet," he added.
