Manama, A new batch of pilots from the Gulf Air-Tamkeen programme recently took to the skies after they had successfully completed ground and base training courses.
A group of seven pilots is now operating as Second Officers to complete a set of flying hours and earn their next stripe to be First Officers, according to the Kingdom's national carrier.
The cooperation between Gulf Air and Tamkeen is tailored to the airline's requirements and brings a value-added, unmatched training experience to Gulf Air's aviation professionals. They have signed the joint agreement in May aimed at enhancing opportunities for the training and employment of Bahrainis within Bahrain's aviation sector.
