The KDP leads the final results of the regional elections followed by the PUK and the Movement for Change

Baghdad, The Electoral Commission for the Elections and Referendum in the Kurdistan region, announced on Saturday night, the final results of the regional parliament elections.

"The Kurdistan Democratic Party won the first place with 45 seats, followed by the Patriotic Union with 21 seats, and the Movement of Change with 12 seats," the Commission said in a press statement.

The Movement of the New Generation received 8 seats, Jemaah Islamiah 7, a List of Reforms to 5 seats, and the Alliance of the Age (Sardam) and the Azadi list for one seat to each.
