King Abdulaziz Royal Reserve Limits Access to Protect Flourishing Wildlife and Vegetation

Riyadh: The King Abdulaziz Royal Reserve Development Authority has introduced a new access mechanism for visitors entering Al-Suman area. Visitors can now access the reserve from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm after obtaining an entry permit through the authority's website. This initiative aims to balance environmental protection with public access. The new system aligns with the 2030 strategic goals for royal reserves and the Saudi Green Initiative. It seeks to preserve the environmental gains achieved in the reserve since its establishment in 2018. These gains include flourishing vegetation in valleys and meadows and increased wildlife activity. Limiting vehicle access will further protect plant life and nocturnal wildlife populations. The King Abdulaziz Royal Reserve is one of seven established by royal decree and boasts government membership within the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN). Located in Riyadh Region, on an area of approximately 28,000 square kilometers, the reserve includes Rawdat A l-Tanhat, Rawdat Al-Khafs, Rawdat Noura, Al-Dahna, Al-Suman and the surrounding areas. PMF’s Intelligence dismantles a drug network in Nineveh

Baghdad, The Popular Mobilization Commission announced the dismantling of a drug trafficking network in Nineveh Governorate. The Commission stated in a statement, 'The intelligence and information directorate detachments/General Directorate of Information of the Popular Mobilization Forces were able to dismantle a network trafficking in narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances in Nineveh Governorate.' Al-Mandalawi calls on the government to adopt a draft resolution to stop the Zionist aggression through diplomatic efforts

Baghdad, The Acting Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, called on the government to adopt a draft resolution to stop the Zionist aggression, impose the necessary measures to implement it in accordance with Article Seven, and hold the usurping entity accountable for violating international law and violating the United Nations Charter. Al-Mandalawi said in a speech he delivered during his participation in the Fifth International Conference in Support of the Palestinian People, which was held by the Islamic Supreme Council: 'International Quds Day passes this year, and the free world and the resistance fighters are accelerating towards victory in Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen and Iraq,' indicating: 'Every jihad minute , and a martyr strengthens the right of the Palestinian cause and its centrality in the Islamic and humanitarian worlds.' He renewed his commitment to the position of the Supreme Authority in Najaf, in the necessity of (preventing the occupation forces from continuing to implement their plans to inflict more harm on the oppressed Palestinian people, and ending the tragedy of this honorable people that has been ongoing for seven decades by obtaining their legitimate rights and removing the occupation from their usurped lands). The two martyrs were embodied by their intellectual and jihadi presence in the field in all arenas and the fields are the importance of steadfastness and resistance to get rid of injustice and terrorism.' SECURITY FORCES: SEIZING OF A LARGE QUANTITY OF COCAINE WORTH MILLIONS OF DOLLARS HIDDEN IN A BANANA SHIPMENT AT BEIRUT PORT

The Internal Security Forces Directorate General's Public Relations Division issued a statement this afternoon, indicating that as part of its continuous pursuit and arrest of drug smuggling networks in the country, orders were given to the relevant units to intensify their investigative efforts to uncover drug smuggling operations to and from Lebanese territory and to identify and arrest all those involved in said operations. 'As a result of the investigations, the Information Division reached confirmed data that an international network smuggled a large quantity of cocaine from Ecuador to Lebanon, by hiding it inside a shipment of bananas...After diligent follow-up, the Division was able to determine the location of the container upon its arrival at the port of Beirut, where a patrol unit worked to seize it and upon careful inspection, 25.6 kilograms of cocaine worth millions of dollars were found professionally hidden inside the metal structure of the container,' the statement added. 'The legal requireme nts have been carried out concerning the seized shipment, and efforts are still underway to arrest the smuggling network members involved in the aforementioned operation,' the ISF statement concluded.
