Karbala, A delegation from Al-Azhar Al-Sharif performed today the visitation ceremony to the shrine of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him. The delegation included Al-Azhar Advisor Sheikh Dr. Muhammad Muhanna, professor of jurisprudence and law at Al-Azhar University and head of the Muhammadi Sufism Foundation. Members of two drug trafficking gangs arrested in Kirkuk

Kirkuk, Detachments of the Directorate of Combating Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances in Kirkuk Governorate seized a kilogram of narcotic substances in Kirkuk and arrested their dealers and promoters, with the support of detachments from the Kirkuk Police Command, Security and Personnel Affairs. $2 million from the former regime’s railways Recovered

Baghdad, The Iraqi Assets Recovery Fund announced today, Sunday, the recovery of about two million dollars from the account of the railway company of the former regime. The Fund stated in a statement that $1.9 million had been recovered from the account of the General Railway Company of the previous regime. This announcement, which includes funds amounting to less than 3 billion dinars, comes less than a week after the announcement of the recovery of 4 billion dinars to the state treasury from accounts that have been dormant for 20 years and belong to the Republican Guard. A burned body found inside a car in Diyala

Baquba, A security force found the body of a murdered man inside his vehicle southwest of Baquba, Diyala Governorate Center. A security source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that 'a security force found a burnt car with the body of a man inside parked on an agricultural road near the village of outskirts of Jdeidah Al-Shatt district, southwest of Baquba. He added that the perpetrators put the victim in the car, shot him, and then burned it, according to initial indications.
