Costa Rica President Meets with Saudi Minister of State for Foreign Affairs

San Jose: President Rodrigo Chaves Robles of the Republic of Costa Rica has met with Saudi Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Climate Envoy Adel Aljubeir here on the sidelines of the high-level event on ocean action. During the meeting, Aljubeir conveyed the greetings of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, along with their wishes for further progress and prosperity for Costa Rica and its people. The commission has activated shuttle buses to transport over 365,000 pilgrims to and from the Grand Mosque. Jeddah: The Grand Hajj Symposium, as a global Islamic platform, has completed 48 years of continuous contributions by discussing numerous issues of importance to the Islamic world across various fields. Since its inception in 1397 AH, the symposium has featured more than 200 scientific research papers. The symposium aims to highlight the cultural and civilizational role of the Kingdom in serving Hajj and pilgrims, and to shed light on the most significant achievements, projects, and ongoing developments in the two holy mosques to serve Muslims. It has focused on establishing the principle of calm intellectual dialogue on issues concerning the Islamic nation. More than 1,000 speakers from over 60 countries have participated in its various editions. Hajjah, The measles vaccination and pregnant women surveying campaign in Hajjah and Sa'dah governorates, Yemen, provided medical services to 1,538 children from May 26 to 31, 2024, with the support of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief). In Hajjah governorate, the campaign supported 1,101 children in the Hayran district; 297 in the Haradh district; and 21 in the Midi district.
