WHAT TO DO NEXT: To join the CAE class action, go to https://rosenlegal.com/submit-form/?case_id=27285 or call Phillip Kim, Esq. toll-free at 866-767-3653 or email case@rosenlegal.com for information on the class action. WHY ROSEN LAW: We encourage investors to select qualified counsel with a track record of success in leadership roles. Often, firms issuing notices do not have comparable experience, resources or any meaningful peer recognition. Many of these firms do not actually litigate securities class actions, but are merely middlemen that refer clients or partner with law firms that actually litigate the cases. Be wise in selecting counsel. The Rosen Law Firm represents investors throughout the globe, concentrating its practice in securities class actions and shareholder derivative litigation. Rosen Law Firm has achieved the largest ever securities class action settlement against a Chinese Company. Rosen Law Firm was Ranked No. 1 by ISS Securities Class Action Services for number of securities class action settlements in 2017. The firm has been ranked in the top 4 each year since 2013 and has recovered hundreds of millions of dollars for investors. In 2019 alone the firm secured over $438 million for investors. In 2020, founding partner Laurence Rosen was named by law360 as a Titan of Plaintiffs’ Bar. Many of the firm’s attorneys have been recognized by Lawdragon and Super Lawyers.

DETAILS OF THE CASE: According to the lawsuit, throughout the Class Period, defendants made materially false and misleading statements concerning significant cost overruns in CAE’s Defense and Security (“Defense”) segment caused by several fixed-price, long-term Defense contracts entered prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. In truth, certain of CAE’s pre-COVID fixed-price Defense contracts had experienced such significant cost overruns that CAE needed to take over $720 million in charges and profit adjustments and “re-baselin[e]” its entire Defense business. When the true details entered the market, the lawsuit claims that investors suffered damages.

Palestinian resistance source: The meeting in Cairo did not lead to clear progress

Gaza-Ma'an- A special source in the leadership of the Palestinian resistance revealed the latest information regarding the meeting in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, which is related to discussing a ceasefire in Gaza and concluding a prisoner exchange deal. The private source confirmed on Saturday that the meeting in Cairo with the delegation of the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, "did not lead to clear progress." A source in the leadership of the Palestinian resistance told Al-Mayadeen that "Israel" is committed to remaining in the "Philadelphi" axis in the first stage of a possible agreement, while Hamas is adhering to the proposal of July 2 (the proposal of US President Joe Biden), and rejects the presence of occupation forces in this axis. Earlier, a special source in the leadership of the Palestinian resistance confirmed that Hamas had sent a delegation to Cairo to inform the mediators of its adherence to the July 2 paper, 'as a reference for implementation, not for negotiation.' Hamas Political Bur eau member, Izzat al-Rishq, confirmed that the movement's delegation will arrive in Cairo on Saturday evening, headed by the movement's Deputy Political Bureau Chairman, Khalil al-Hayya, in order to hear the results of the round of negotiations. He added that Hamas "affirms its readiness to implement what was agreed upon (on July 2, 2024), and demands pressure on the occupation, obligating it to implement that, and stopping the obstruction of reaching an agreement." Al-Qassam announces the detonation of a minefield with occupation vehicles in Deir al-Balah

Gaza - Ma'an - The Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced the detonation of a minefield in military vehicles and engineering equipment belonging to the occupation forces in the central Gaza Strip. The Brigades said in a press statement on Saturday: "Qassam fighters were able to detonate a minefield prepared in advance in a number of enemy vehicles and engineering equipment in the military sites area east of Deir al-Balah city in the central Gaza Strip." It explained that Qassam fighters monitored the landing of helicopters to evacuate the dead and wounded in the ranks of the occupation army. Qassam confirmed that an Israeli personnel carrier was targeted with a "Yassin 105" shell east of Deir al-Balah city in the central Gaza Strip. Earlier on Friday, the Brigades reported fierce clashes between its fighters and the occupation forces in the Netzarim axis, the Zeitoun neighborhood, and Tel al-Sultan with explosive devices and anti-tank and anti-personnel shells. Official Israeli data indic ates that 695 soldiers and officers have been killed since the beginning of the war, 332 of them since the start of the ground attack on Gaza, while 4,357 others were injured. Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation, with American support, has been waging a war of extermination on the Gaza Strip, resulting in more than 133,000 Palestinian martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than ten thousand missing, amid massive destruction and a deadly famine. 19 thousand orphans in Gaza due to aggression

Gaza - Ma'an - UNICEF spokesman Kazem Abu Khalaf revealed on Saturday the details of the suffering of children who lost their parents in the Gaza Strip. He explained that the issue of orphaned children is called "unaccompanied children" because of the horrors of the aggression, whether the father is in the south and the son remains with his mother in the north, or vice versa, or his parents were martyred during the war. According to the organization's official website, the spokesman indicated that "the number of unaccompanied children in Gaza is a purely estimated number, because we cannot accurately count the numbers." He added, from our experience as an organization working in war and conflict zones around the world, 1% of the total number are unaccompanied children, whose parents may be alive or orphans. Abu Khalaf confirmed that there are 1.9 million displaced people in Gaza, and therefore, the estimated number is 19,000 unaccompanied children who may be orphans or whose parents have been separated fr om them by war. He noted that these numbers are estimates and are measured by experience and conflict areas, and are less than 1% of the total number of displaced persons. It is worth noting that in cases where there is no family reunification, or the child has become an orphan, there is the extended family, whether cousins, maternal uncles, grandmothers or grandfathers, who take care of the children and provide care until things improve, and support is provided to them. Hamas: We are committed to what we agreed to on July 2

Gaza - Ma'an - Hamas confirmed today, Saturday, its commitment to what it agreed to on July 2, based on the announcement of US President Joe Biden and the Security Council resolution, before its delegation headed to Cairo. Hamas leader Izzat al-Rishq said, "The movement's delegation, headed by Khalil al-Hayya, will arrive in Cairo this evening, based on an invitation from the mediating brothers in Egypt and Qatar, to listen to the results of the negotiations that took place in Cairo." Al-Rishq said that Hamas confirms its "commitment to what it agreed to on July 2, based on the announcement of US President Joe Biden and the Security Council resolution," and it also confirms its "readiness to implement what was agreed upon, calling for pressure on the occupation and obligating it to implement that and stop obstructing reaching an agreement." On July 2, Hamas submitted its response to the mediators regarding the ceasefire proposal and the prisoner exchange deal, and confirmed its adherence to the necessity o f reaching a permanent ceasefire and the withdrawal of Israeli forces from the entire territory of the Gaza Strip. Hamas is demanding that the mediators present a plan to implement what it accepted on July 2, based on Biden's vision and Security Council Resolution 2735, and oblige Israel to do so, instead of entering into new negotiations. A summit is scheduled to be held in the Egyptian capital tomorrow, Sunday, with the attendance of the head of the Egyptian intelligence service, the Qatari prime minister, the head of the American intelligence service, and the head of Mossad to discuss reaching the deal. 100,000 citizens displaced from Deir al-Balah

Gaza - Ma'an - Deir al-Balah Municipality reported that 100,000 citizens were displaced from the east of the city during the past two days, and 20 shelters went out of service. Deir al-Balah is home to hundreds of thousands of displaced Palestinians, especially in the city centre and its western areas. She pointed out earlier that Deir al-Balah, which the occupation classified from the first moments of its aggression on the Gaza Strip as a safe humanitarian area, has become home to nearly more than half of the population of the Gaza Strip, and despite that, the occupation is escalating its aggression against it. It also called on the international community to pressure the occupation to stop the policy of forced displacement, which has become an adopted methodology by the occupation to make every spot in the Gaza Strip unsafe and uninhabitable.
