The Ministry of Oil announced that the amount of crude oil exports amounted to (108) million and (53) thousand and (356) barrels during last July. The Ministry of Oil stated in a statement: "The total quantities of crude oil exported from the oil fields in central and southern Iraq amounted to (106) million and (125) thousand and (200) barrels." Bahrain participates in first Special Olympics MENA Regional Sailing Competition in Dubai

Manama, Special Olympics Bahrain is participating in the first Special Olympics MENA Regional Sailing Competition, held on October 2-6. Hosted by the Dubai International Marine Club, with the support of the Dubai Sports Council and in cooperation with the Special Olympics UAE and the Special Olympics International, under the supervision of the UAE Sailing and Rowing Federation (UAESARF). Six teams will participate, representing Oman, Kuwait, Morocco, Bahrain, and Syria, in addition to the Special Olympics UAE team. Dr. Sherif El Fouly, Director of Special Olympics Middle East and North Africa, emphasised the importance of holding this event after sailing joined and spread in various programmes of the Special Olympics. He noted that sailing was one of the sports included in the Abu Dhabi Special Olympics International Games 2019, achieving great success. It was also in the Berlin Special Olympics International Games 2023. Bou Habib discusses situation in south Lebanon and region with Swiss Ambassador, meets Iraqi Embassy’s Acting Chargé d’Affaires

Caretaker Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrnats, Dr. Abdallah Bou Habib, on Thursday received Swiss Ambassador to Lebanon, Marion Weichelt, with whom he discussed the situation in southern Lebanon and the broad region. Minister Bou Habib thanked Switzerland for its supportive position for Lebanon in the Security Council, where it holds the position of a non-permanent member, and its vote in favor of the resolution extending UNIFIL's mandate for another year, which was approved unanimously by the UNSC. On the other hand, Bou Habib received in his office the Acting Chargé d'Affaires of the Iraqi Embassy in Lebanon, Counselor Nada Karim Majoul, who came on a courtesy visit. Discussions between the pair reportedly touched on the course of the growing and developing Lebanese-Iraqi relations, as well as ways to advance them to achieve the interests of the two brotherly countries and peoples. Iraqi oil exports to Jordan rise during the first half of 2024

Iraqi oil exports to Jordan increased during the first half of this year by 29% compared to the first half of last year 2023. SOMO said in a statistic published on its website that Iraqi oil exports to Jordan increased during the first half of this year by 29% to reach 2 million, 112 thousand, and 620 barrels compared to exports during the same period last year 2023, which amounted to 1 million, 496 thousand, and 258 barrels. SOMO indicated that Jordan imported about 3.8 million barrels of Iraqi oil during the past year under the agreement signed between the two parties, which was renewed during the middle of this year. Jordan agreed with Iraq in August of last year to increase imports from 10,000 to 15,000 barrels per month, thus increasing the quantity from 300,000 to 450,000 barrels, which covers about 10 percent of Jordan's crude oil needs. Fuel prices to drop in early September

Bethlehem-Ma'an- Fuel prices are expected to drop at dawn next Sunday, at the beginning of September 2024. The new drop in fuel prices comes due to the decline in the dollar exchange rate and the decline in oil prices, assuming that there is no radical change in them in the coming days. Starting next month, the price of a liter of unleaded gasoline (octane 95) for consumers at a self-service station (including VAT) will not exceed NIS 7.29 per liter. Manama, Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,957.49 points, marking a decrease of 0.57 points below the previous closing. This decrease was due to the drop in the material sector and the real estate sector. Bahrain Islamic Index has closed at 805.84 points, marking a decrease of 1.17 points below the previous closing. Results indicated that 136 equity transactions took place with a volume of 2,460,948 worth BD 665,117. Producer prices rose by 2.25% last month

Ramallah - Ma'an - The Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics said that the producer price index recorded a 2.25% increase during July compared to June 2024. The statistics explained in a statement issued today, Thursday, that the general index during the past month reached 136.24 compared to 133.25 during the previous month (base year 2019 = 100). He added that the producer price index for locally consumed goods from local production recorded an increase of 2.31%, as the producer price index for locally consumed goods reached 138.92 during July 2024 compared to 135.78 during the previous month (base year 2019 = 100). The statistics continued, that the producer price index for goods exported from local production recorded an increase of 1.55%, as the producer price index for goods exported from local production reached 111.29 during the month of July compared to 109.60 during the previous month (base year 2019 = 100). He pointed out that the prices of goods produced from the agriculture, forestry and fi shing activities recorded an increase of 5.10%, as their relative importance constitutes 29.94% of the product basket, as a result of the increase in the prices of goods within the non-perennial crops cultivation activity by 12.72%. Prices of goods within the fishing and aquaculture activity recorded a decrease of 14.57%, while prices of goods within the animal production activity recorded a decrease of 5.76%. Prices of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supplies recorded an increase of 2.64%, as their relative importance constitutes 8.23% of the product basket, while prices of water supplies, sanitation, waste management and treatment activities recorded an increase of 1.35%, as their relative importance constitutes 1.50% of the product basket. The statistics indicated that the prices of goods produced from manufacturing activities recorded an increase of 0.10%, as their relative importance constitutes 58.92% of the product basket, due to the increase in the prices of the produced goods. While the prices of mining and quarrying products recorded stability during July 2024, as the index settled at 103.04, as its relative importance constitutes 1.41% of the product basket.
