Riyadh: A 5.1 magnitude earthquake struck the Sindirgi district of Balikesir province in western Trkiye early this morning.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority reported that the tremor originated at a depth of 11 kilometers.
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya confirmed that specialized teams have been deployed to the area for field investigations. While assessments are ongoing, authorities report no casualties or significant damage at this stage.
