5.7 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes off New Zealand’s East Coast

Riyadh: A 5.7-magnitude earthquake struck off the east coast of New Zealand's North Island: New Zealand media reported today that the earthquake was centered 10 kilometers southwest of the Te Araroa Trail on the east coast, and occurred at a depth of 39 kilometers.

According to Saudi Press Agency, there were no reports of casualties or damage from the earthquake, which was felt by several thousand residents.
