Al-Sudani appreciates the efforts of all security forces in securing sites, cities and roads for Arbaeen pilgrims

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, appreciated the efforts of all security forces formations in securing sites, cities and roads for visitors. A statement from his media office stated that Al-Sudani chaired a meeting of the Supreme Security Committee this evening, Saturday, to follow up on the implementation of the security plan for the Arbaeen visit in the holy Karbala Governorate, and then visited the Joint Operations Center in the governorate. During his visit to the Joint Operations Center, he was briefed on the situation regarding checkpoints, inspection points, and the work of thermal cameras approved in the plan, and appreciated the efforts of all security forces of various types, which have taken it upon themselves to secure sites, cities and roads leading to Karbala, in order to provide security for our people and for visitors coming for more than a month, stressing that the mission is currently summarized in the field presence in these last hours of the visit in o rder for each party to assume its assigned responsibility. The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces stressed, according to the statement, the importance of each security agency submitting a detailed report on the visit, the plan, and its strengths and weaknesses, and mentioning the negatives that accompanied the work in order to address them, expressing appreciation for the Popular Mobilization Forces that made a lot of efforts throughout the days of the visit in providing services, in addition to the efforts of departments, institutions, governorates and ministries in all service stations. According to the statement, Al-Sudani stressed the necessity of maintaining security, facing all challenges, and addressing any emergency or security problem and identifying its causes, because these coming hours sum up the efforts of all the past days, and it is necessary not to allow any event to occur that would tarnish the wonderful image of the security effort made.
