A large fire that broke out in the industrial district of Hilla destroyed a number of shops, without causing any casualties. Civil Defense Media Director Aqeel Abdullah said, "A large fire broke out in a number of commercial stores for unknown reasons, causing material damage but no casualties." He added that the civil defense teams were able to extinguish the fire and that the police opened an investigation to find out the causes of the fire. Source: National Iraqi News Agency
