A security force from the Diyala police arrested gang members on charges of extorting street vendors, northeast of Baquba.
The media Spokesman for the Diyala Police Command, Colonel Haitham Al-Shammari, told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that a police force had arrested 3 suspects who formed a gang of extortion and imposed royalties on street vendors in Muqdadiya, northeast of Baquba.
He added that legal measures were taken against the blackmailers to bring them to justice to receive their just punishment.
