A Lifetime of Faith: Moroccan Centenarian Sets Off for Hajj Through Makkah Route Initiative

Rabat: At over 100 years of age, a Moroccan pilgrim set out on his spiritual journey through the Makkah Route Initiative at Rabat-Sal© International Airport, surrounded by attentive care from the moment he arrived at the initiative's lounge, ready to depart for Hajj with ease and reassurance.

According to Saudi Press Agency, leaning on a walking stick, his face radiated quiet joy as he recited the talbiyah (a devotional prayer uttered by pilgrims during Hajj), his words carrying the emotion of a man finally embarking on the journey of a lifetime after more than a century.

As he completed his passport procedures, the elderly pilgrim exchanged brief words with the Saudi staff who stayed by his side every step of the way, their faces lit with warm smiles as they processed his documents with special care, mindful of his age and the sacred journey ahead.
