Riyadh: Acting President of the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) Hassan Al-Asmari today welcomed Saud bin Mohammed bin Hajid, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Cancer Society (Sadan), to the agency's headquarters. The meeting was also attended by CEO Moqbel Al-Suraie and several cancer patients and survivors with a keen interest in media.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the discussions focused on fostering collaboration between SPA and the Saudi Cancer Society to support community initiatives and amplify awareness and humanitarian efforts. Both parties explored avenues to leverage their respective platforms to enhance the reach of important societal messages.
During their visit, the delegation was given a tour of the news department, where they gained insight into the workflow and the comprehensive process of news production, from its inception to its publication across multiple languages. The visit also highlighted SPA's pivotal role in promoting Saudi Arabia's media message.
