Al-shara'i: Al-Birr Charity Association in Al-Shara'i continues to implement its charitable programs during the month of Ramadan by providing iftar meals for fasting individuals inside the Grand Mosque and its courtyards, at entry points to Makkah, and to families in need. The initiative is part of an operational plan to distribute 350,000 iftar meals throughout the month, with more than 120 volunteers and staff overseeing distribution and delivery.
According to Saudi Press Agency, association officials stated that approximately 8,000 iftar meals are distributed daily, including 3,000 meals inside the Grand Mosque, 2,000 meals in Al-Shara'i site, and 3,000 meals provided to needy families and mosques. They added that a camp was established at the Al-Shara'i site to serve pilgrims, thereby improving organization and speeding up meal distribution.
