Riyadh: Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture and Chairman of the Board of Directors for the General Food Security Authority (GFSA) Abdulrahman Alfadley received Minister of State and Cabinet Member Khalid Al-Falih at the authority's headquarters during his visit to the advanced early warning center of GFSA.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Al-Falih was briefed on the center's operations and its role in monitoring food supply chains and enabling early response to local and global changes. He also reviewed advanced technologies that support decision-making and strengthen the sustainability of food security in the Kingdom.
Alfadley stated that the development of the early warning system reflects efforts to adopt global best practices, support Vision 2030, and strengthen coordination to ensure stable food supplies.
Al-Falih praised the technological and operational advancements at the center, highlighting their role in supporting food security and improving readiness for future challenges.
