Al-ghat: Located 15 kilometers east of Al-Ghat Governorate in Riyadh Region, Al-Ghat National Park spans over 34 million square meters and combines rich biodiversity and natural landscapes, making it an ideal destination for families and visitors.
According to Saudi Press Agency, it is considered the largest natural park in the Kingdom and features a main stream bordered on one bank by several flat terraces ranging from five to 10 meters in height. The valley branches terminate in two natural springs, whose waters flow through rock fissures, creating a breathtaking scene that reflects the area's natural magnificence.
Al-Ghat National Park is home to dense vegetation comprising more than 130 plant species. Over the past 15 years, approximately 200,000 seedlings of native species have been cultivated, underscoring the park's role in promoting environmental sustainability.
The park features a deer reserve alongside a variety of wildlife, including lizards, hedgehogs, doves, and partridges.
