Al-shaqiq: Under the directives of Governor of Al-Jouf Region Prince Faisal bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz, Prince Miteb bin Mishaal bin Badr bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Al-Jouf Region, visited the City of Hajj and Umrah Pilgrims in Al-Shaqiq to review the services provided to pilgrims arriving by land through the region.
According to Saudi Press Agency, upon his arrival, Prince Miteb was briefed on the workflow at the city, which covers an area of 113,000 square meters. The city operates under the supervision of Al-Jouf Region principality, in collaboration with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.
The city has accommodated 11,433 pilgrims as of Wednesday, who have arrived aboard 472 buses. The services in place are focused on receiving, hosting, and ensuring the well-being of the pilgrims, while facilitating their onward journeys smoothly.
