Sakaka: Governor of Al-Jouf Region Prince Faisal bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz affirmed that this year's Al-Jouf International Olive Festival reflects the region's agricultural and tourism assets. He said it supports development, empowers farmers and producers, and opens wider marketing opportunities for Al-Jouf products in local, regional, and international markets. According to Saudi Press Agency, he made the remarks today as he launched the festival's 19th edition. Organized by Al-Jouf Municipality in Sakaka, it runs through January 17 with 45 olive farms, 10 agricultural companies, and seven countries participating. The governor toured the festival's pavilions and its Al-Jouf olive products. He stressed the importance of quality care and upgrading agricultural products to strengthen their position in local and global markets. He also toured the festival grounds and reviewed accompanying events, including an international exhibition, the Olive Kitchen, and several cultural and entertainment zones.
